Vulkanbet is especially among punters from Germany and Russia a well-known entity, though they also cater to the Scandinavian market and to Turkish customers. The online casino and sportsbook has been around since 2015, and is owned and operated by Global Innovations Ltd.
The casino has managed to establish a solid customer base and with that a solid reputation. Even though the casino and sportsbook is not as widely known as many others in the industry, which is why we are taking a closer look at it. Vulkanbet is licensed in Malta and Curacao and can thus be considered a safe option to play online casino games and place sports bets.
Vulkanbet offers an interesting welcome bonus to new players that could give you €600 on your first three deposits at the casino. If you’re wondering whether you might want to sign up here, we have a few advantages that we noticed right away:

So, the welcome bonus at Vulkanbet is interesting. It’s also a little curious and unlike anything we’ve seen before. You can claim a bonus on the first three deposits you make at the casino, but it is staggered, and different wagering requirements apply to each bonus. This could be confusing, so we have to pay attention.
All bonuses are valid for 30 days, though they have to be activated in the “My Bonuses” section within three days of registering at the casino. The bonus funds may also be only wagered using slot games, though a few high RTP slots will not contribute towards the wagering requirements.
Unfortunately, that also means that the bonus cannot be used in the sports section.
Furthermore, you won’t be able to cash out more than 10x the bonus amount you received initially. So, if you claim a €100 bonus and manage to successfully meet the wagering requirements and make €1,500 in winnings, you will only be able to cash out €1,000. Winnings beyond that will be forfeited.
Generally speaking, bonus funds can be used on just about all available games at the casino and most slots will contribute 100% towards wagering, whereas most other games (including Poker, Roulette and Blackjack) only contribute 15%. Though this does not appear to apply to the welcome bonus.
Vulkanbet is not exactly a new casino, but they have yet to manage a better way of filtering for games. Indeed, there’s no separate section for progressive jackpots, though we can assure you that they do have some of the biggest available.
The casino boasts some life-changing progressive jackpots, including:
Noticeably absent are the big NetEnt jackpots such as Hall of Gods, Arabian Nights and Mega Fortune. We do get some smaller progressives as well, including Cosmic Fortune, Super Lucky Frog, Ozwin’s Jackpots and Holmes and the Stolen Stones. Overall, the offering isn’t too bad, but you have to look via the search function in order to find any jackpot at all. That’s tedious and definitely needs to be improved.
No jackpots
Right now, we get eight different games here, including Roulette, Blackjack, Casino Hold’em, Baccarat and Keno. The dealers look attractive and the tables are done professionally. Even if we don’t know who runs the live games, we can certainly recommend that you try them out if you like live casino.
Vulkanbet seems to be almost more into eSports than actual sportsbetting. The eSports section follows the casino section in the menu and it’s extensive. A number of well-known multiplayer games are listed here, and you can see who is playing against whom at first glance in current and upcoming matches. It’s very well done and if you’re into eSports, Vulkanbet is most certainly the place where you should place your bets.
We’re a little sceptical when it comes to the sportsbetting section, however. Without logging into an account, we can only see a number of upcoming football events here. But we know that the bookmaker offers plenty of other sports, events and markets with a huge number of selections in the sportsbook, so we’re a little curious as to why those can’t be seen when simply browsing the website.
In any case, what we can tell you is that Vulkanbet is a favourite bookmaker in Germany and Russia and that they offer decent odds. Their sportsbook is very user-friendly and the only thing we’re missing a sportsbook welcome bonus.
There’s unfortunately no separate section for banking information. At the bottom of each page you’ll find the different banking option logos, including Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Skrill, giropay, paysafecard and Trustly, but you have to go digging to find further information.
For instance, we don’t know if there are any fees for deposits or withdrawals, though we’ve not found any information on that anywhere and believe no fees apply. Once you have an account at Vulkanbet, you can visit the cashier and find further information. But generally, we prefer such information in advance.
Digging through the FAQs and terms and conditions, we learned that the minimum deposit and withdrawal is just €5, which is the smallest amount we’ve ever seen anywhere.
Also, if you request a withdrawal without having wagered your initial deposit at least twice, an administrative charge of 20% may be applied. Most casino charge you in such cases, which means it’s always good to read the terms and conditions.
We have also not found any information on a withdrawal limit. Here you may wish to contact customer service, if you are worried. But for the time being there appears to be no such limit, which is a huge advantage.
A European-facing online casino should always have a European gambling license. We’re happy to see a MGA license at Vulkanbet, though the casino is also licensed through Curacao eGaming.
Considering that the operator has been around for three years already, we’ve seen remarkably few complaints about them. That is a good sign and indicates that we have a safe casino and bookmaker with Vulkanbet.
The casino addresses safety and security, as well as player protection and responsible play, which is always a good sign that they’re looking out for their customers. The only complaints we have come across in the past concern their bonuses, which is unfortunately common with many casinos and often a result of not reading the bonus terms. We have, however, no concerns when it comes to Vulkanbet as a safe place to play.
As far as we can tell, the casino was launched with its current design and has not seen an update since its inception. The design is not at all exciting or innovative and whilst you can access the most important sections right at the top, filtering for games in the casino is tedious at best.
It’s possible to search for games and filter them according to provider, but that’s where it ends and that’s not very user-friendly at all.
We do get a separate section for promotions, which is absolutely necessary, but no section for banking options, for instance. Instead there’s a “Hall of Fame”, where you can find the top winners of each month going back twelve months. That’s only insofar interesting as you can see how big wins have been here and there, but we’d much rather see a proper filter for games instead.
The layout of the homepage is good, though, but navigation could be improved as well because there’s much scrolling involved when trying to find the sections you might be interested in, if they are even there.
Honestly, we much prefer the mobile version of the casino. Somehow it strikes us as much more user-friendly, with a better and more sensible layout and improved navigation. You can access the different sections of the casino via a fold-away menu and easily get to eSports, sportsbetting, live casino and casino. The different types of games are also better sorted. Instead of scrolling down the homepage, the various game types are sorted at the top and you simply click on them to see available games.
Overall, you get to use almost the complete functionality of the desktop page, but in a much more user-friendly manner. So, if you want to play at Vulkanbet, we recommend you do so via the mobile page.
Beside the welcome package, Vulkanbet also offers a VIP or high roller bonus. It doesn’t look as if this is a welcome bonus, and it doesn’t say so anywhere either. Instead, it requires a minimum deposit of €500 to be claimed and then you get a 100% match bonus of up to €3,500.
Most bonuses currently available at Vulkanbet can only be claimed once per household, so whilst this may not be a welcome bonus, it appears to be a one-time bonus.
Players can also claim a €50 cash back bonus, which is once again a one-time offer.
Finally, there’s a loyalty program, which you automatically sign up to once you’re registered at the casino. For each €2 in real wagers you place at the casino, you receive 1 loyalty point. There are 10 tiers you may achieve in the loyalty scheme and in total 99 levels to climb. That means each tier consists of 9 levels.
There’s much that recommends Vulkanbet as a casino and sportsbook operator. They have plenty on offer in the games department and it’s an excellent place for all your eSports related gambling needs.
We’ve found few complaints about the casino and would consider it a safe option for you to play at. The main thing we find in need of improvement is the filtering options for games and the navigation on the whole. The website could be a lot more user-friendly, and judging by the mobile site, that shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve.
