YoYo Casino Review

YoYo Casino is another casino belonging to Araxio Development N.V., who also operate casinos such as Alf Casino or Boaboa. The company is at home in Cyprus and licensed through Curacao eGaming. YoYo Casino opened its virtual doors in 2017 and thus has been around for over a year now. That alone inspires some confidence because it means they’ve been attracting enough customers to keep going.

The casino works with a lot of great developers to bring us a fantastic range of online casino games. Their web design is quirky and user-friendly, and you can look forward to live casino games, a good mobile experience and an unusual range of progressive jackpots.

If you decide to sign-up here, you can look forward to a welcome bonus that gives you up to €500 and a massive 200 free spins. Here are some reasons you might want to consider checking this casino out:

  • Great range of games
  • Reliable game developers
  • Generous regular bonus offers
  • Live casino and mobile casino
  • Dozens of progressive jackpots
  • 24/7 customer service

A generous welcome bonus with 200 extra spins

The welcome bonus can be decisive for many online casino players as to whether or not they decide to sign-up somewhere. I generous bonus is more likely to attract customers, but the bonus conditions are the real dealmaker or deal breaker. At YoYo Casino, new players can look forward to a maximum welcome bonus of 100% and up to €500. Additionally, players will receive 200 extra spins, which are handed out in increments of 20 spins over 10 days with the first 20 spins available immediately after making the deposit. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether the free spins are available on any slot or are restricted to a particular game.

Players will need to wager the bonus funds and initial deposit 30x each before a withdrawal is possible. Whilst we have seen better deals, we also have seen worse. Unfortunately, you only get 10 days to meet the requirements, though it’s quite possible to do so as long as you don’t claim the full amount of the welcome bonus.

Only slots and other games contribute 100% to completing the turnover requirements, though there are some slots that only contribute 20% and quite a few slots are excluded from contributing. You can find the full list in the bonus conditions at YoYo Casino. Any other games, such as Video Poker, table games or live games, do not contribute at all.

Finally, if you wish to claim the bonus, you’ll need to contact customer service via email or live chat for them to add it once you’ve made your first deposit.

A great range of games

Obviously, the selection of games available at a casino are an important factor as to why you might wish to sign-up here. YoYo works with about two dozen developers, bringing us some of the best games currently available.

If you like games from NetEnt, PariPlay, BGaming, Play’n GO, Endorphina, Ezugi, Microgaming, Quickspin, Yggdrasil Gaming, NYX Gaming, Amatic, EGT, GameArt, Betsoft, Thunderkick, Push Gaming, Elk Studios, Amaya, Habanero and a few others, YoYo Casino is the place for you.

They have the newest and many of the greatest games in the market at hand and you can look forward to playing such great slots as Hanzo’s Dojo, Robin of Sherwood, Pirate’s Charm, Wild Scarabs, Exotic Cats, Immortal Romance, Jumanji, Tut’s Twister, Asgardian Stones, Muertitos and many others.

Of course, table games are available as well and they come in decent numbers. They’re not sorted into a single section, however. Instead you can filter according to ‘card games’, ‘roulette’, ‘blackjack’, ‘poker’ and ‘video poker’.

Whichever section you choose, you’ll find a selection of games such as Baccarat, Casino Hold’em, Pai Gow, Ride’Em Poker, Punto Banco, Red Dog, American, European and French Roulette, over two dozen Blackjack variations and exactly two dozen games of Video Poker.

YoYo is a good place to be when you love table games.

Live Games from two providers

Live games are also available at YoYo. Here the selection is not quite as impressive as the table game selection. But you get the usual live tables that are available at online casinos run by Araxio Development N.V. That means most games come courtesy of Evolution Gaming, the leader in the live gaming industry. But a separate live casino from Ezugi is also available. We don’t know how many games it contains, but probably the usual selection.

You can play live Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette and Poker in the live casino section and Dream Catcher is available as well. Especially Poker fans should be happy here, because there are five different Poker tables available.

Whilst it may only be a relatively small live casino offering, you can hardly ask for more when it comes to variety.

An unusual selection of jackpots

You can easily filter for jackpot games at YoYo, which is always a handy thing to have. We’ve seen casinos where you tediously had to search among all games to find any titles at all. Thankfully, that’s not the case here. Instead, however, you find a rather curious selection of progressive jackpots that come mostly from game developer EGT. Indeed, there are a few dozen games available and they usually come with four progressive jackpots that manage to grow to six-figure sums.

Additionally, the two progressive jackpots Push Gaming has given us thus far, are also available at YoYo. And Betsoft games including jackpots can be found here as well.

Some of the titles you may or may not know are:

  • Zodiac Wheel
  • Secrets of Alchemy
  • 100 Cats
  • Power Force Villains
  • Power Force Heroes
  • The Glam Life
  • The Mega Glam Life

Unfortunately, the Betsoft jackpots are not listed in the jackpot section. But since you can handily filter according to developer, it is not difficult to find the Betsoft games.

No jackpots

Many payment options

According to the logos on the homepage, we do know that Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, Bank Transfer, zimpler, Boleto and Qiwi are available as payment methods. Most of these will also be available for withdrawals.

A few more details are available in the terms and conditions over at YoYo. For instance, deposits should generally be played through 3x before a withdrawal is requested. Such requirements usually serve to prevent money laundering.

Withdrawal limits depend on you player status at the casino. Bronze level players can withdraw €10,000 per month, whereas Diamond players will be able to withdraw as much as €50,000 per month.

Whilst the casino generally promises to process withdrawal requests within 24 hours, the verification process that is required before the first withdrawal is reportedly taking a long time and a lot of documents. We would like to consider this a measure of security rather than an inconvenience to players.

24/7 support in several languages

Whilst we have heard a lot of good things about YoYo, one common complaint has involved their customer service. Apparently, it is slow to respond and not always very helpful. Lately, however, we’ve also found out that things have been improving.

The good thing is, YoYo’s customer support is generally available 24/7. However, some departments have limited opening times, which can be found on their website. For instance, their financial department is not open on the weekends and calls are not accepted around the clock either. But live chat appears to be available at all times.

The website itself is available in a number of different languages and telephone support is offered at least in Russian and English.

It would be helpful, if their FAQ section would be more extensive and more information would be made available on the website. In general, you can find sufficient information on most topics, but in some cases that is not yet true.

Licensed in Curacao

Right now, YoYo Casino has only one gambling license. That license comes from the Curacao eGaming jurisdiction. They’re one of the oldest gambling jurisdictions around. Unfortunately, online casinos with European customers should also have European licenses, which adds another layer of confidence and security for customers.

That said, we haven’t actually heard about any major complaints against the casino and most customers seem to be happy here. Additionally, all games in their library are thoroughly tested and come from reliable developers.

We simply hope that Araxio Development N.V. will soon obtain a European license as well.

A pleasant design with some quirky gimmicks

The colour palette at YoYo is surprisingly pleasant and definitely unusual. There are no blacks, blues or greens anywhere, which are very common choices for online casinos. Instead, we get a lot of pale orange and a few other pale colours in blue and green. None of it is hard on the eyes and it makes for a somewhat relaxing atmosphere.

And we like the little gimmicks you can find here and there. For instance, the live chat is accessible via a little rocket ship that’s hovering on the right-hand side and will move up and down as you scroll. The YoYo logo is also a little quirky and looks a bit like a colour splatter.

The main menu folds away nicely and gives us access to all important areas of the casino. Navigation on the whole is well done and all information can be found easily. If you can’t find it a click away, it usually isn’t there. That’s not always great but at least it saves you from having to dig deeper.

A neat mobile casino

YoYo’s online casino is fully adapted for mobile users. The colour palette and general layout of the mobile page is similar to the desktop version, though obviously adapted to the smaller screen.

The menu folds away for the mobile site as well, leaving you with a tidy layout and access to many mobile-friendly games. Handily, you’ll be able to access all sections of the desktop page via mobile as well, including the live casino.

This certainly makes YoYo a good option for customers who like to play mobile.

Promotions, tournaments and a VIP program

YoYo Casino has customers much to offer beyond the initial sign-up bonus. Additionally, players can grab a weekly 15% cashback and get up to €3,000 back in case they’re unlucky. Beyond that one weekly reload bonus offers 50 free spins, whereas the other weekly reload bonus gives you a 50% bonus, up to €500 in bonus cash and another 50 extra spins.

There’s even 10% daily cashback bonus for live casino players and up to €150 you could get back in case you lose. That’s incredibly generous and something we’ve never seen elsewhere.

Then there are a bunch of tournaments, which seems to be a staple at Araxio’s casinos. One of the tournaments is a features Yggdrasil Gaming tournament, whilst the others are proprietary to the casino and there you can mostly win loyalty points.

Which brings us neatly to the topic of loyalty points. You can earn 1 point for every €100 you wager at the casino and later convert those points into bonus cash that comes with 35x wagering requirements. The exchange ratio for earning loyalty points gets better as you increase your player status. Once you reach Diamond, you get a point for every €70 you wager.

That VIP program appears pretty standard for Araxio casinos. You get several levels from Bronze to Diamond, which all bring various advantages. The cashback rate increases, the exchange rate gets better and withdrawal limits increase as well. Personal account managers are available once you reach Platinum. And, of course, the usual additional bonuses and personal offers become better as you climb through the levels.

Overall, YoYo has much to offer for regular players, which is good news indeed.

Conclusion: A good casino that only needs one more license

Truth be told, there’s little we don’t like at YoYo Casino and even then, we can’t really say that we have any real issues with this casino. We’d like to see more transparent information about payment methods and a more extensive FAQ section and the speediness of the customer service needs to improve as well.

But those things tend to improve over time and beyond that we’re only really missing a European license for the benefit of the customers. At least, we don’t know about any major complaints against the casino, which means you should really try it out yourself, if you want a good selection of games, great incentives and a pleasant atmosphere.
