Mystic Wheel Slot Review
Mystic Wheel is a video slot from Red Tiger with 5 reels and 30 paylines. Released in August 2019, this game can be played at online casinos such as Rizk, PlayOjo or Guts.
Theme and basic information
It’s a little difficult to categorise the theme of this slot. It’s sort of a mix of fantasy and science fiction, if you like. We’re looking at a massive wheel that could almost be called a stargate, which is framed by rocks, or perhaps embedded in them. The graphics are beautifully done. There are lots of mysterious details, patterns and symbols.
On the reels we find intricate symbols on the reels: a diamond, an amulet, a ring and a key. They’re all quite beautiful. The diamond pays 10x our stake for 5 on a payline, though it seems to show up very rarely.
The background music is also mysterious and difficult to categorise. It’s okay to keep it playing I the background, though.
You can play this game for 0.10 per spin and up to 80.00 per spin, though, as usual with Red Tiger games, this might differ between casinos.
Multiply your multipliers with the Mystic Wheel
Alright, so we have to say, the base game is very slot. There are no wilds, no big wins and the game is quite volatile. You can set your auto-play to your preferred number of spins, add a loss limit, click the turbo button as well and wait for scatters to land on the reels. Sure, that way you may end up playing 50 spins within the blink of an eye without significant wins at all.
But the scatters hit often enough to trigger the Mystic Wheel at least every 100 spins, sometimes even every 50 spins.
What happens when it does? Well, for each scatter you land, you get 1 spin on the wheel. Mostly, we got 3 or 4 spins.
On the wheel, the options are:
- Getting a multiplier – between 2x and 10x to begin with
- Adding a specific number of multipliers to the ones shown on the wheel (between +2 and +4 to begin with)
- To get additional spins – 2 or 3 to begin with
- To double all multipliers as they are shown on the wheel (at any given time)
This way, the multipliers can go up to 100x or more and with a little luck, you keep getting more spins. We once played at least a dozen spins where most of the time the multipliers kept increasing. Then we collected three of those multipliers and ended up with a win of more than 200x our stake.
The Mystic Wheel won’t always be so generous, when it shows up, but the potential is definitely there.
Conclusion: A beautiful slot with a slow base game and potentially impressive multipliers
The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) of Mystic Wheel is 96.16%, which is about average these days. The game is also on the volatile side of things and, as already mentioned, wins don’t tend to be massive. It’s all in the Mystic Wheel bonus. Here the massive multipliers can be collected, with a little luck anyway. And watching that happen can be fun and fill you with trepidation. We’ve had a run where we kept getting more spins and kept increasing the multiplier. But then getting the multipliers seemed almost elusive. When we finally did catch a few, it was a relief and a joy and whether you will end up liking Mystic Wheel or not depends on whether you ever catch those massive 100x and more multipliers. If you do, make sure to move onto another game after your big win. It won’t happen twice.
