When reviewing Panther’s Reign from Quickspin, we somehow stumbled across Tiger’s Glory, which we have failed to review thus far. Despite a certain similarity in titles, both games couldn’t be more different from one another.

With Tiger’s Glory, Quickspin ventured into uncharted territory. We’re in ancient Rome with the Colosseum set as the backdrop for the action. The day is bright, but it may yet end in doom for the gladiators spinning across the reels as they are set to face the tigers in the arena. For such a gory and brutal theme, the look of the game is surprisingly bright and unbloody. We’ve seen Gladiator slots with much more blood spattered on the symbols.

Then again, this is Quickspin, who are usually on the lighter and funner side of things.

Nevertheless, this is a good-looking slot with 9 to A card symbols on sandstone tiles, four different gladiators and a tiger as they highest value symbol that pays 10x our stake for 6 across a payline.

There’s a regular wild and a scatter as well.

The soundtrack is orchestral and suggests a certain gloriousness that gladiators may achieve in the arena. Given the theme, it could have also been on the gloomier side of things.

Tiger Battle with sticky wilds

There’s not much going on in the base game, so we’re moving right along to where the action and excitement await. We need 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters to trigger 7, 10, 15 or 20 free spins, respectively.

Now the enraged tiger symbol will come into play. It has a red frame to make it more recognisable. Whenever it lands on the reels, the nearest gladiator will fight the tiger. If the tiger wins, the symbol will become sticky on the reels and turn wild for the remainder of the spins. Additionally, it pays as a scatter symbol, meaning it will give us a win if other enraged tigers land on the reels.

Verdict: An unusual Quickspin slot with great potential

The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) for Tiger’s Glory is 96.51%, which is excellent, though this is a highly volatile slot, which is also unusual for Quickspin. And since the minimum bet is set at a fairly high 0.40, you should definitely budget carefully.

Hitting the free spins is no easy feat and if it takes you more than 200 spins, you might want to move onto something more forgiving. But Tiger’s Glory is certainly worth a try, especially since it has a potential of 12,000x your stake during the free spins and even if you don’t reach such glorious wins, the outcome is generally good enough to enjoy a victorious glow.
