Dragon Sisters is a fantasy themed slot that looks awesome. The backdrop is an ancient stone castle set in the mountains, a fire pit is burning on one side and the landscape is stark and empty. In front you get two sets of reels, one above the other. That looks somewhat awkward and we find that it looks better adapted to a mobile screen, when you hold your device in portrait mode. That’s infinitely better, but unfortunately not an option when you play via desktop. Still, the graphics are stunning, no matter what device you use to play the game.
You get mostly the same symbols on both reels, with low-paying dragon eggs as well as crown, shield, sword and spear appearing on all reels. The main difference is that the top reels represent the dark sister with the red dragon, and the bottom reel gives us the fair sister with her blue dragon. The sisters are also the highest paying symbols. Offering up 15x your stake, if you get 5-of-a-kind in one win.
As intricate as the game looks, it has only one main feature. Those involve the dragons, which are the bonus or scatter symbols in this slot. If the red dragon lands on any of the top reels, it will turn the complete stack of symbols on the bottom reel directly below it wild. You also get a free re-spin. Those re-spins keep coming, as long as dragon or wild appears on either set of reels. When the blue dragon appears on the bottom reels, it will disperse three random wilds anywhere on the top reels. That way you can get wilds, which are actually locked in place, on both sets of reels. And as long as dragons show up anywhere, more wilds are added and also locked in place.
This can result in some incredible wins, depending on how many more dragons or wilds keep showing up and how many re-spins you end up getting. Whilst this is the only feature we get here, it does show up frequently enough to keep us entertained and to keep the cash up as well.
The theoretical RTP (return to player) for Dragon Sisters is 96.73%. That’s terrific value and even if we were particularly lucky, we’re inclined to consider it realistic. Dragon Sisters is a great looking slot and its main feature is awesome. Both sets of reels spin independently of each other, which means you can easily claim wins on all 50 paylines that are available. Wins tend to be small on anything but the dragon feature, but the sisters do pay reasonably well, if you spin several of them onto the reels.
