Mega Moolah regularly makes millionaires. In August, a lucky Swedish player scored the largest jackpot in the country to date and the third-largest in Mega Moolah history.
Jackpot of over €14 Million
The Mega Moolah jackpot already paid out over €10 million this year alone through various big jackpot wins. Especially, their new jackpot game Atlantean Treasures has proved successful with players. Several new millionaires scored their wins playing this game.
But the latest big jackpot win tops everything else we’ve seen this year and it was won on the original Mega Moolah slot.
One lucky player managed to score the incredible amount of €14,239,532.84 on Mega Moolah, making them an instant millionaire.
Of course, the win had to be checked first and then approved. But it was legitimately won by a Swedish player at a Svenska casino and has been paid out in one sum.
In fact, the player received 147,716,758.44 Swedish Krona.
Third largest jackpot win ever
Whilst this marks the largest ever progressive jackpot win in Sweden, it is also the third-largest jackpot win paid out by the Mega Moolah network. It is by far the largest win this year.
Microgaming’s Director of Games, Andrew Booth, extended his congratulations:
“Congratulations… on the tremendous win through Microgaming’s Mega Moolah. The win marks the largest euro jackpot win in Sweden through our progressive jackpot network!”
The lucky winner is undoubtedly still recovering from this game-changing event in their life. Alas, we basically know nothing about this win except that it happened in Sweden. We don’t know the bet size when the jackpot game was triggered nor who the lucky winner is. They chose to remain anonymous, which is understandable.
Growing network of jackpots
Microgaming has put a lot of effort into growing their progressive jackpot network this year. They’ve already added two new titles at the beginning of the year with Atlantean Treasures and Absolootly Mad. Only last month, they added Sisters of Oz and Book of Atem to their range of WowPot progressive jackpot games, which are currently sitting at over €6 million.
