LeoVegas has the best quarter ever

Ever since the LeoVegas Casino was launched in 2011 it has strived to become the best mobile casino there is. From the very beginning LeoVegas catered to the mobile casino industry more than any other online casino. Consequently it has received a number of industry awards recognizing just that.

It’s hardly surprising to hear that LeoVegas caters to mobile players especially, making it worthwhile to participate in regular promotions via mobile devices instead of playing on desktop.

The strategy keeps paying off. LeoVegas is undoubtedly one of the most successful online casinos in Europe and with the addition of a sportsbook just before the Euro 2016, the casino has scored another coup.

During the last quarter the numbers have virtually exploded for the LeoVegas Casino, confirming the most successful quarter to date. Revenue between July and September went up by a staggering 76 percent in comparison to the same time the previous year. Where revenue was an already astounding 22.6 million Euros in 2015 for that period, it was 39.7 million Euros this year. EBITDA climbed from 1.1 million Euros in the third quarter of 2015 to 9.4 million in the third quarter this year.

The addition of a new sportsbook alone can’t explain this increased revenue, of course. But it wasn’t the only section LeoVegas worked on or improved in their online casino. The live casino section, for instance, has been bolstered significantly, with more roulette and blackjack tables added. As usual, LeoVegas ensured that this extended to their mobile offering as well. Mobile live casinos are still fairly rare and LeoVegas has certainly an edge here.

The popular online casino has no plans to slow down either. Indeed, LeoVegas has designs to become the fastest and most effective sportsbook on the Internet. That is most certainly an ambitious plan, especially considering that the casino only introduced their sportsbook a few months ago. A lot of bookmakers have been around for a lot longer than that. But LeoVegas works with Kambi, who are the best at what they do right now, scoring various deals with various online casinos themselves.

For now, LeoVegas will continue to grow. The online casino and sportsbook just scored a license from Denmark, where the online gambling market has been opened and regulated only relatively recently. Romania is certainly in the cards as well. Growth in Continental Europe is to be expected and if more gambling markets open up (such as Germany perhaps), LeoVegas will continue to expand.
