Scientific Games, the company that owns two popular casino software brands Bally and WMS, revealed its plan to develop a slot game based on the block building game Tetris. Tetris is a Nintendo powered game that has millions of fans all around the world.

The company has made a statement which revealed there had been an agreement Scientific Games to produce a slot that will make Tetris part of the gambling industry. The one to comment on the deal was Steve Saferin, who is the president of Scientific Games Properties Group. Saferin said that the company was looking forward to working with the team that stands behind Tetris in order “to bring the iconic video game experience to our slot machines for players to enjoy on casino floors.”

Therefore, players can only wait and see what Scientific Games will make out of this excellent opportunity to bring the 80’s fan favourite game Tetris into the gambling world. Since all similar collaborations between two high profile companies such as these two usually result in an amazing final product, it can be said that the hopes are pretty high.
