BetSoft Gaming Drops Bid for UK Licence

One of the most popular casino software providers, BetSoft Gaming, is dropping their bid for obtaining a British gaming license. This move of the provider has made casino operators that feature its games to remove them from their offer.

This news was made public by Plain Partners, a group that serves as the affiliate manager for many popular casinos such as Vera&John. The company sent an e-mail explaining that Vera&John will remove all BetSoft titles because the provider has abandoned the process of getting the UK gambling licence.

In the e-mail addressed to all partners was written that they had been informed by BetSoft that the company would stop its application for a UKGC licence at the time. As a result, the site verajohn.co.uk, which is serving players from the United Kingdom, would turn all BetSoft games off.
However, players from other countries do not have to worry since all other sites that serve non UK citizens will continue offering BetSoft games.

In the end of their e-mail Plain Partners expressed their hopes that BetSoft would reconsider their application in Q3 and the group would be able to offer BetSoft games to their UK players soon enough. The e-mail ends with the sentence “Sorry for any inconveniences this might have caused you.”

It is understandable why Plain Partners are so worried about the latest events; BetSoft is a software provider whose games attract a countless number of players. The company, which was started in 2008 in the United Kingdom, is the best known for its fantastic selection of 3D slots such as At the Copa, Under the Bed and Good Girl Bad Girl.

It is not known what made BetSoft change its mind when it comes to acquiring UK gambling licence since the provider hasn’t made any comments yet.
