Ben Affleck Admits to Using Card Counting Technique in Blackjack

Popular celebrity Ben Affleck opened up about his scandal regarding blackjack card counting, and he admitted that he used the technique to win in this popular casino card game. However, he wishes he got kicked out of casinos for being too good at it.

The 42-year-old actor told Details Magazine that he used card counting to win in blackjack, but he was not kicked out of casinos, even though he would have liked it. “It is all true. It took me a while to learn the game and become a good player. Now that I have become decent the casinos asked me to stop playing blackjack,” Affleck told the magazine. “When you think about it, the fact that being very good at the game is against casino rules tells you a lot about a casino,” he added. “It looks like they don’t want you to have a sporting chance and beat the house.”

Earlier this year, Ben Affleck was told to stop playing blackjack at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The other casinos nearby were also warned and he was accused of advantage play. Even though card counting is illegal, reports say that he is banned for life from playing blackjack.

Other reports say that he was again asked to stop playing the game in a Canadian casino when he was in town filming the movie Batman Versus Superman. However, he also wasn’t kicked out from the casino. “I wish I was. However, they came up and told me to stop playing blackjack and check the other games like Chinese poker,” Affleck said.

Affleck also admitted that he is not a compulsive gambler even though he is being obsessive about getting good. He also added that his wife Jennifer Garner doesn’t have a problem with his card counting gambling.
