Palms Casino Cuts Back Dana White’s Play

It appears that Palms Resort and Casino is welcoming only gamblers that lose regularly. However, if you are as good as Dana White, the UFC president, things are not that welcoming. It is reported that White has won almost $2 million playing casino games since March at the Palms. However, the casino apparently got concerned and decided to cut back his play. Therefore, his betting limit was reduced from $25,000 to $5,000 per hand.

White wasn’t happy with the decision. “Apparently casinos don’t want people to gamble anymore,” said White to Las Vegas Review Journal. “There are owned by corporations and want to increase the odds so much against players so that they quit playing.”

According to the report, it is the second time in as many years that the Palms decided to limit the high stake action of Dane White. White got a $5,000-bottle wine from the casino in order to invite him to come back and play. However, when he returned things backfired a lot.

“After the event with Ben Affleck at the Hard Rock, many people believe that I’m a card counter. But I’m definitely not a card counter,” White added.

White said that Mandalay Bay had got in touch with him and invited him to come and play, but he feels that there are only a few casinos in the Sin City that would take serious action. The UFC president, however, plans to visit the Palms again and eat at the excellent N9ne Steakhouse, where he regularly tips the staff $10,000 on a $10,000 tab.
