Bingo.com has recently joined the Unibet Casino Network. This is a big coup for the network because not only is Bingo.com a big name in the industry but they bring along with them, a whopping two million registered users.
Bingo.com offers more then just bingo. Their members also have the opportunity to play slots and sweepstakes, in addition to multi-player bingo. Their members also have the privilege of being added to the liquidity pool of Bingo.se and MariaBingo.com.
The Chief Executive Officer for Bingo, Tarrnie Williams recently spoke about the recent move to the Unibet Bingo and Casino Network. He explained that through this partnership, Bingo.com “has the ability to maximize the value of its international traffic as it will now support over 20 languages and 10 currencies. Bingo.com will also realize cost savings in technology, finance, customer service and other departments that are included services in the Unibet partner programme.”
The Unibet Network is able to offer a number of gaming platforms including both casino and bingo. However, recently, there seems to have a great deal of focus on bingo acquisitons. Besides Bingo.com, they recently purchased Carat, Betty and Maria Bingo under their umbrella. The latter, Maria Bingo, is the biggest bingo site in the Nordic market.
Just as Tarrnie Williams, CEO of Bingo.com expressed excitement and good will over his company’s move to the Unibet Network, his counterpart at Unibet expressed similar sentiments to the media. He recently proclaimed that this deal “shows that we really have a quality bingo network with great understanding for local needs”.
Besides the aforementioned deals, other moves in the industry include Boylesports becoming a part of the Virtue Fusion Network, Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment starting Caesar’s Bingo Online along with Gamesys and Gamesys founding Bingo For Heart FM. Its been a busy time in the bingo industry with more changes likely to come. As companies position themselves for the future be prepared for a lot of ongoing moving and shaking.
