Microgaming only launched their WowPot network of progressive jackpots last year. Now they have a new mega winner on record.
£15.2 Million Jackpot Win
If you’ve recently looked at any of the WowPot! progressive slots lately, you may have wondered just how much further they were going to climb before someone hit the big one. Well, the answer is in!
Last week, on the 14th April, a lucky British player at 32Red casino played Book of Atem WowPot for £0.80 per spin. And managed to trigger the jackpot! The WowPot or Mega jackpot was worth £15,183,085.96 at the time, which is somewhat over €17.5 million.
Whilst the winner wishes to remain anonymous, Microgaming’s John Coleman was ecstatic over the win:
“What a phenomenal win – our third largest ever and the first Mega to drop on WowPot! Congratulations to the winning player. I’d also like to thank All41 Studios for developing Book of Atem: WowPot. Here’s to many more wins together.”
The last big win on a WowPot! jackpot occurred on Sister of Oz in March when a lucky player won the Major jackpot at €1,123,513.15. But the Mega jackpot has been climbing further and further just waiting to be snatched.
It has now become the third-largest jackpot to be paid out by Microgaming:
€18,915,872.81 on Mega Moolah (28/09/2018)
€17,886,199.18 on Mega Moolah (06/10/2015)
€17,529,047.11 on Book of Atem: WowPot (14/04/2021)
What to play next?
When the WowPot jackpot is won, it seeds back at 2 million, which absolutely no one would complain about winning either. So, you have plenty of WowPot slots to choose from, all of them launched last year by Microgaming’s many partner studios.
Or you could head on over and play one of the Mega Moolah slots in the ever-growing network. It doesn’t look as if the WowPot jackpot win will hold its place for very long as the Mega Moolah jackpot is already worth more than €18 million at the time of this article.
We quite enjoyed Mega Moolah Atlantean Treasure, in case you don’t want to play the classic.
