Microgaming’s 7 Millionaires in 7 months

Since the beginning of the year, Microgaming’s progressive jackpots have paid out more than 1 million to 7 players. That makes 7 millionaires in 7 months.

Major Millions Jackpot Wins

Often, we talk about new mega jackpot wins on slots such as Mega Moolah or Mega Fortune (from NetEnt) or even Hall of Gods or Joker Millions (Yggdrasil Gaming). But there are other progressive jackpots that make millionaires. One of them just happens to be Major Millions, one of the oldest progressive jackpots from Microgaming.

This year alone, the game has made three millionaires, which is impressive. Let’s take a look at the winners.

  • 14th March 2020 – One winner scooped up €1,650,910.31
  • 12th June 2020 – This time the jackpot was won at €1,203,349.99
  • 20th July 2020 – The most recent winner bagged €1,650,382.89 on a €3 bet

Sure, other progressive jackpots grow bigger than this one. But even though Major Millions may be an oldie, it clearly remains a goodie.

Mega Moolah Winners

The other four millionaires were all made on various Mega Moolah slots. Among them also the biggest win of the year to date, which was $9,890,800 on Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, a slot that is basically a clone of Starburst where the gameplay is concerned, but clearly it’s a favoured games already, having been released earlier this year.

Indeed, in May the game paid out another huge win of over €7.7 million.

The other new Mega Moolah progressive jackpot game, Absolootly Mad, also crowned a millionaire in May.

More Jackpots to be released

Microgaming seems to be on a roll this year. Their progressive jackpot network has consisted of the same handful of games for years now, but already two new games were added to the Mega Moolah network in the first half of 2020.

More titles are to be released during the next few months. Here’s a sneak peek:

  • Book of Atem: WowPot (All41 Studios)
  • Sisters of Oz: WowPot (Triple Edge Studios)
  • Fortunium Gold: Mega Moolah (Stormcraft Studios)
  • Juicy Joker: Mega Moolah (Just For The Win)
  • African Legends (Slingshot Studios)

The WowPot network is separate from the Mega Moolah network and tends to comprise smaller jackpots.

We sure are looking forward to all these new releases and will be reviewing them for you in depths.
