New Lara Croft slot finally released

The long-anticipated Lara Croft slot from Microgaming has finally been released and it’s full of features and potential big wins.

Good-looking slot

Microgaming’s first Lara Croft slot was released in 2004, followed by another game in 2008. Neither game is still available to play, unfortunately, so it’s been a long time coming that we finally get a new Lara Croft slot.

This one was developed by Triple Edge Studios for Microgaming and it looks pretty great. The temple setting is mysterious, the reel symbols are fitting to the theme and Lara herself makes four appearances on the reels.

243 ways to win and multipliers

Lara Croft: Temples and Tombs brings us as much action from our heroine as we’d expect. We get 243 ways to win, rolling reels (or cascading wins) and multipliers on consecutive wins. Even in the base game, we can get up to 5x multipliers, which can reel in great wins.

Loads of free spins and higher multipliers

Three scatters kick off the free spins, though four or five will do as well, giving us as many as 32 free spins to get started. The multiplier now begins at 3x and can climb up to 15x with those rolling wins.

More scatters will retrigger the feature, which could end up giving us 80 free spins to play with.

During the free spins, the maximum payout is a staggering 7,343x our stake.

And then there’s the jackpot

Or rather, there are three jackpots. Triggering the jackpot is a bit random, but usually, you will win one of the three jackpots available: Minor, Major or Grand. They pay out 15x, 100x or 5,000x your stake, respectively.

Usually, of course, you’ll only get the minor jackpot, but we won’t complain. It’s a nice addition to hope for.

Fun but volatile slot

We enjoyed playing Lara Croft: Temples and Tombs and will review it for you fully very shortly. It’s a great game and it never gets boring. But it is quite volatile as well and sensible budgeting is recommended when playing.
