Slot developer Pariplay has teamed up with the Save the Rhino charity to donate proceeds from Rumble Rhino to saving rhinos.
Save the Rhino
Slot developers support charitable causes. Some are very active with their own charities, such as Microgaming’s Play it Forward, others choose different ways. Pariplay has now teamed up with the Save the Rhino charity and it’s pretty cool.
We get plenty of African themed slots where the big beasts of the African Savannah feature prominently on the reels. The theme itself is quite popular and some of the games are very well done. With Rumble Rhino, Pariplay has now released their own offering, but theirs comes with a charitable twist.
They decided to donate 10% of any profits made on the slot to the Save the Rhino charity. Rhinos are an endangered species and when you launch the game, you’ll get to see a short clip about them, and the games aim to help save them.
Richard Mintz, Commercial and Marketing Director at Pariplay, said: “At Pariplay, we strongly believe in social responsibility, which is why we’re thrilled to partner with Save the Rhino International and support their amazing cause. Our pledge to donate a part of the profits from our flagship title, Rumble Rhino, will support the funding of projects that will help prevent the rhino population from going extinct.”
This is an amazing effort and the people at Save the Rhino are equally thrilled about this partnership. Says Michaela Butorova, Partnerships Manager at Save the Rhino International: “Collaboration for conservation is at the heart of our work, and it is thanks to the support of our partners that we can continue to keep up the vital rhino conservation efforts. We’re delighted that Pariplay shares our vision and commitment to protecting this iconic species in the wild, and we’re thrilled to announce our partnership in conjunction with our 25th anniversary celebrations.”
Pariplay delivered a good-looking game with Rumble Rhino. We particularly love the background with an African village set in a beautiful landscape. The slot comes with 6 reels and 100 paylines. The four middle reels are extended to four rows, which is interesting because here massive 4×4 mega symbols can land.
You’ll get mystery symbols that can land anywhere and a bonus feature that can give us coin wins and free spins with varying multipliers.
The game has an RTP of 95.52%, which is below average, but in this case, it’s for a good cause, so we don’t mind playing an entertaining game and losing here and there. It means saving the rhinos, after all.
