Four new slots to look forward to

As the new year kicks off, a few new slots have already been released, but our favourite providers have also been announcing slots to look forward to this year.

Raging Rex by Play’n GO

This would be the first dinosaur-themed slot for Play’n GO and as one of our favourite developers, we expect awesome graphics and interesting features with Raging Rex. Players will get to pick among two bonus features, Primal Rage and Wild Hunt, when the bonus spins are launched and the T-Rex ruling this game will also be able to enter the Rampage Mode.

We’re curious about the destruction that the T-Rex will visit upon the reels and hope to see many coins fall into players’ pockets.

Mars Attacks by Blueprint Gaming

Blueprint Gaming has been very busy in 2018 and has fast become one slot developer to watch when it comes to interesting games with unique features. The company has now partnered with Warner Bros. to create a licensed slot based on the iconic and more than quirky sci-fi movie Mars Attacks.

The bonus features to look forward to sound promising:

  • Final Stand
  • N.A.
  • Analysis
  • Martian Takeover
  • We Come in Peace
  • Spy Hunter

Though we’re also very curious about the sound and graphics of the slot and whether Blueprint Gaming manages to capture the essence of the movie.

New Lara Croft slot from Microgaming

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the cooperation of Square Enix and Microgaming, who developed the first Lara Croft slot together back in 2004, the first branded slot to ever have been created. In celebration of this anniversary, Microgaming announced the creation of a new Tomb Raider slot, which will be released this year.

Details, such as title or whether this slot might be based on the latest Lara Croft movie released last year, are sparse.

We do know that Triple Edge Studios will be in charge of the development of the game. The developer was acquired by Microgaming last year and has already impressed us with a few titles, especially when it comes to the visuals.

Golden Grimoire by NetEnt

Golden Grimoire will be the February release from NetEnt and it looks awesome from what we’ve seen so far. It’s dark, mysterious and, of course, magical. Mystery symbols, symbol transformations, expanding wilds and free spins await us in this slot.

The theme looks great and is interesting enough to hold our attention, after all, who doesn’t like a magical theme, especially when it gets a little dark and mysterious.

The only thing we’re worried about is whether the game manages to hold the promises it thus far makes. The features are certainly great, but if they only show up every 100 spins, things might get a little boring and become a strain on the budget.

We’ll be sure to review these new slots for you once they are released, of course.
