Play’n GO up for seven EGR B2B awards

The EGR Awards are among the most prestigious in the industry. One type are the B2B awards, which are handed out in their own ceremony. Slot developer Play’n GO has now been nominated for seven of them.

Play’n GO nominations

Of course, there are multiple categories and each category will see multiple nominees. Being nominated alone is a great honour, but it doesn’t hurt to win either. This year, Play’n GO appears to be among the leading developers of online casino games when it comes to nominations for the EGR B2B awards. They garnered a staggering seven nominations and are up for an award in the following categories:

  • Innovation in Mobile
  • Innovation in Slot Provision
  • Innovation in RNG Casino Software
  • Mobile Gaming Software
  • RNG Casino Supplier
  • Slot Provider
  • Multi-Channel Supplier

We expect that they will win one or two of these awards at the very least, but it’s difficult to predict which one(s) that might be.

Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO as well as co-founder, is very happy indeed: “It is a great honor that Play’n GO has been nominated in so many categories this year and we are delighted to be so well-represented. This is testament to all of the hard work our team has put in over the last year and I am very proud of our achievements. It would be great to pick up a few more awards after a brilliant start to 2018.”

EGR B2B Awards

We will have to wait until the 20th June, when the awards are being held at the Hurlingham Club in London this year. Needless to say, everyone will show up dressed to the nines, it is a black-tie event, after all.

Not all nominations have been revealed yet, but the biggest names in the industry are usually among them, including NetEnt, Microgaming and many others.

The awards are not only for online casinos and developers of online casino games but recognizes achievements across the gaming and betting industry around the globe, including land-based sectors.

We’ll keep you updated on the winners once they’ve been announced.
