Re-imagining table games
Yggdrasil Gaming is well known across the industry for their brilliant slot games. We have been wondering whether or not the developer will eventually move into the table game sector and now they’ve announced that this will be the next step for the first quarter of 2018. And they’re not just going to make run-of-the-mill table games. No, Yggdrasil Gaming have set their sights a lot higher than that.
3D REDUX™
The company developed a new in-house technology that they named REDUX™. Starting with a brand new Blackjack table, the Yggdrasil Gaming will launch a series of table games employing a proprietary 3D engine, which will take things to a completely new level. Players will not only get to engage with 3D dealers, they will also get the chance to play beside each other.
The new table games won’t just be one against the computer (the 3D dealer in this case), but a new multiplayer experience that we’ve not seen before.
Additionally the graphics and 3D animations are supposed to be rendered in such a ways as to be as lifelike as possible. The dealers will be individualised, offer gestures and facial expressions and engage with the players.

The first table will be introduced at the ICE Totally Gaming in February in London. It will be a Blackjack game, which will eventually be followed by Roulette and Baccarat.
Also, these new games will seamlessly integrate with Yggdrasil’s other tools such as BRAG™ and BOOST™. The tables and environment can be customised according to casino operators needs and cross-selling opportunities will be made available as well.
