NetEnt’s Jackpots Pay out €78 million in 2017

NetEnt, the Swedish game studio and leading online casino software provider, recently revealed just how “life-changing” its game jackpots were during 2017. The numbers were posted in an official update on NetEnt’s blog and show a staggering number of €78.3 million paid out during the course of last year.

When it comes to global progressive jackpots, NetEnt has several of them: the Mega Fortune, Mega Fortune Dreams, the classic Arabian Nights, the Hall of Gods, and the Divine Fortune, which is a more recent addition.  It is on these games that some of the largest online jackpots have been won since 2011 when the first NetEnt progressive was launched, and it was the same games that paid out a total of 321 jackpots during 2017, according to the update.

Naturally, the hottest game from NetEnt’s progressive collection was Mega Fortune Dreams, which paid out an impressive €30.4 million during the past 12 months. Some of the latest wins from this slot game were triggered just before the holidays, when two distinct players won jackpots worth €3.5 million, and €3.3 million, respectively, one of them at Mr.Green Casino. The Mega Fortune Dreams was also the jackpot game that accounted for the largest numbers of unique players and rounds played throughout the year.

But the title of biggest NetEnt jackpot payout in 2017 goes to the Hall of Gods game, which brought one lucky slot player a whopping prize of €7.5 million in June. This memorable win was also the fourth-highest payout in the history of NetEnt’s jackpots.

According to Henrik Fagerlund, NetEnt’s Chief Product Officer, the game studio is “over the moon” to be able to repay the loyalty of its player base and they are “very proud” to have helped players win €78 million during last year.
