Goliath casino burst into the casino scene only a few months ago, in February 2018. The casino is a brand by Goliath Ltd, which is owned and operated by Aspire Global International LTD, who are licensed through the MGA and the UKGC. Of course, the name calls to mind the giant from the bible, but there’s no David in sight. Goliath, instead, describes the offering the casino aims for, which is indeed gigantic.
Goliath offers not just a huge number of casino games, but also a live casino, scratch cards, sportsbetting and live betting. In a brand-new casino such a massive offering is nearly unheard of and we’re quite looking forward to telling you all about the casino.
Even the welcome offer is gigantic, consisting of a tiered deposit bonus that could give you up to €1,200 in bonus cash plus 50 extra spins.
The casino impresses already at first glance. Here are a few things that stood out:

You can grab a welcome package at Goliath that gives you bonus cash for your first five deposits you make here. For the very first deposit you will also receive 50 free spins, which are available on Starburst.
The minimum deposit in each case is €20. Bonus cash will expire after 21 days, meaning you have three weeks to complete the wagering requirements. Bonus money and winnings from extra spins need to be wagered 35 times. Free spins are only valid for 24 hours before they expire.
The welcome bonus is added automatically.
In order to complete the wagering requirements, most slots and scratch cards count 100%. Roulette, Video Poker, Quick Play games, Blackjack, Hi Lo Fever, Baccarat games and a few high RTP slots won’t count towards completing the wagering requirements at all. The full list of games that will not contribute, is available over at Goliath in the extensive bonus terms section.
There is also a free bet offer available to new customers, if you choose to sign up as a punter. We’ll tell you more about it in our introduction to the sportsbetting section at Goliath.
True to its name, the casino offers a gigantic selection of games, at least for a casino so new. Not all casinos that have been around longer offer over 1,000 games, though there are still quite a few. But newer casinos tend to have a smaller portfolio. Not so Goliath. The casino works with a large number of developers, among them: Microgaming, NetEnt, NeoGames, Evolution Gaming, Bally, Play’n GO, WMS (Williams Interactive), NextGen Gaming, Realistic Games, Blueprint Gaming, Barcrest Games, iSoftBet, Aristocrat, Quickspin, Rabcat, Ezugi, Playson, Thunderkick, Big Time Gaming, Elk Studios, SG Gaming, Lightning Box, Cadillac Jack, Habanero, Ainsworth Gaming Technology, Pragmatic Play, Tom Horn Gaming, Skillzzgaming, Magnet Gaming and Old Skool Studios.
Here you will find a great selection of amazing games, new ones as well as beloved classics. How about Book of Dead, Viking Runecraft, Asgardian Stones, Avalon II, Jumanji, Fortunium, Wild Scarabs, Alice Adventure, Fruit Spin, Planet Fortune, Dragon Kingdom and many, many more.
In order to find other games besides slots, you have to click on “Casino Games” at the top of the screen. Here you’ll find a relatively small selection of table games such as Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat, as well as a few Video Poker games. This section is definitely not extensive at all and offers little variety.
Indeed, filter according to casino games and you’ll also find all available live games at the casino, even though there’s a separate section for the live casino.
You might be more interested in checking out the scratch card section, which is not huge, but you’ll find a bit more distraction here and if you like scratch cards, it’s certainly worth checking out.
The live casino is very small at Goliath. That’s an area where their name is not justified at all. Right now, you will be able to play 10 live games at the casino, which are all supplied by Evolution Gaming.
Most of these games are Roulette tables and you’re even able to filter according to them, though that seems hardly necessary, considering how small the section is to begin with.
Roulette aside, Blackjack, Baccarat and Dream Catcher are also available.
Perhaps the casino doesn’t focus on live games, which is not a problem at all, but then it makes little sense to even have a live table section. Since they do have one, however, we’d assume that they also want live casino fans to play here, so it would be great to extent that area.
There’s no way to filter the games according to progressive jackpots at Goliath. That means you will have to go looking for them. And that means you’ll need to know which games you’re looking for. So, we searched for every progressive jackpot that we could think of, but we found only three games worth of note.
We searched for NetEnt’s other well-known jackpots but couldn’t find any. Microgaming jackpots don’t seem to be available at all at this time.
So, despite a huge selection of game, the selection of progressive jackpots is tiny. Hopefully the casino will add more in the future.
No jackpots
Goliath offers sports betting, which gets its own section, of course. There you will also find a “In-Play Betting” section, where you can bet on live games.
The sports betting area is quite tidy and not overloaded with information. You can sort according to in-play betting, today’s events, check for results, request cash outs or grab a boost offer.
On the left-hand side, the most common sports are listed, and you can find a large selection of markets and events here. The betting slip is on the right-hand side.
One great thing about betting at Goliath is the availability of the free bet offer for new customers. You’ll have to sign up at Goliath, deposit at least €10 and then place a bet of €10 on odds of 2.0 or higher. Once that’s done you’ll receive a €10 free bet, which will need to be used within 16 days. The free bet needs to be used on selections of odds of 1.80 or higher. As usual, the free bet stake will not be paid out, only your winnings, if you do manage to win.
Only players from United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria and Canada are eligible for this offer. Also, players depositing with Neteller or Skrill or paysafecard are unable to claim this offer.
Overall the sportsbetting section at Goliath is well done and you’ll be able to enjoy a range of betting options here.
According to the casino itself, they are committed to “CARE” – Customers Are Really Everything. That sounds somewhat exaggerated, but there’s nothing wrong with aiming to provide excellent customer service.
You’ll be able to contact customer service seven days a week between 8am and 1am CET. That’s a pretty decent availability, though 24/7 service would be preferable. Since the casino is still very new, we won’t hold the limited opening times against them, however.
The casino makes up for it by supplying an excellent FAQ section. A comprehensive number of questions about many different topics has already been answered for you, meaning you may not even need to talk to the customer service team, if you have a standard question. Only specific problems will need to be addressed with the team.
You’ll be able to contact them using live chat, email and an international phone number.
At Goliath you’ll find a separate page that lists all available banking options. Naturally, not all banking options are available to all customers everywhere, because some are local. But at least they’re all present in one place and you can choose at the cashier which one you want to use.
Additionally, the casino lists the transaction times for deposits and withdrawals, and the currencies you can use the payment options in. In the help section you’ll find out further information about deposits and withdrawals.
Deposits can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, bank transfer, zimpler, Trustly, paysafecard, entropay and a number of other methods. Not all of them are available for withdrawals, of course.
Whilst deposits are usually instant, withdrawals may take a few days, depending on the method chosen. Interestingly, the casino claims to have “superfast payouts”, but looking at transaction times for withdrawals, they may take between 3 and 8 days, which is quite long. Only experience will tell, whether payouts truly take that long, or if they are indeed “superfast”.
As far as we know there’s a monthly withdrawal limit, but we were unable to find out exactly how high the limit is. Winnings above €50,000 will, however, be paid out in monthly installments.
Goliath casino may still be very new, but they’re definitely not pulling any punches or doing things by halves. Instead they go all out and have obtained two licenses: one from the Malta Gaming Authority and another one from the UK Gambling Commission.
That in itself is almost guarantee that we’re dealing with a safe and secure casino here. At the very least the casino is incredibly well regulated, which is always good news.
On top of that, the casino also displays a iTechLabs certificate, which means that the RNGs have been tested independently. The auditing company is among the best-known and most trusted labs testing for fairness and randomness in online casino games.
Add to that the fact that Goliath is very transparent with their information, including banking and bonus terms, we would consider the casino as trustworthy. Still, time will tell whether they are able to hold that promise.
In many ways Goliath looks like a typical online casino. It is modern instead of classic, provides a host of useful links at the top and further information at the bottom. There’s a big banner at the top of the homepage informing us about the welcome bonus. And we’re quite pleased that it is not a changing banner, which usually irritate us. The background is mostly grey, and in text-heavy areas white or light grey. It’s not overly exciting but does its job quite nicely.
So, what do we mean about it not being very user-friendly? Well, you do get useful links and a handy menu, but search options, especially for games, are incredibly limited. You can barely filter the games in a useful way, such as supplier, type or according to jackpot. Some games can only be found by typing in the title, and that is quite tiresome. We hope the casino will improve that eventually.
In many ways the mobile page is very good. You can access a majority of the games, the live casino and the sportsbetting section. All relevant information is easily available on the mobile page of Goliath casino as well. And playing the games is great fun whilst you’re on the go.
The mobile site is well designed and scales down tidily to the smaller screens of mobile devices. You’re usually able to use the casino at almost full capacity, including signing up and using bonuses and promotions.
The only downside we found is a lag in loading the homepage and other sections of the casino. It certainly depends on the speed of your Internet and phone as well. But we’ve had better experiences with other online casinos, using the same mobile device and internet connection we’ve used when trying the Goliath mobile casino.
Indeed, it might even be a bit more of an issue, when you have to rely on your mobile data connection alone.
We’ve already introduced the two welcome offers to you. That aside Goliath isn’t huge in promotions, but they do have a summer offer right now and also a regular Tuesday offer for the current football season, though it is a casino offer, not a sportsbook offer.
In the sportsbook you’ll also be able to partake of a special GoliathBoost, which boosts your accumulator winnings.
The VIP scheme starts once you sign up. As a new member you don’t get much in terms of advantages. But you already have a rate to redeem reward points, which becomes more advantageous as you climb the VIP ladder.
There are six further VIP levels beyond the new membership level and every time you climb a level, additional rewards and advantages wait for you. For a new casino, the VIP scheme is very well thought out and definitely one of the perks of playing at this casino.
Goliath has much to offer for a new casino. They have a huge selection of slots, though we would prefer more table games, a bigger live casino and most definitely more progressive jackpots. Hopefully those will all be added in time.
The casino provides players with plenty of information and is doubly licensed, which is why we consider it a safe option for you to play at. There are few things we truly feel the need to improve and everything that we don’t like, we have already mentioned throughout the review.
Overall, Goliath casino is a place we can recommend you check out. It’s such a young casino that we only expect it to get better with time and experience.
