Theme and basic information

For once, we get a female adventurer and not another version of Indiana Jones. And Vicky isn’t even just another Lara Croft, for instance. She’s a heroine in her own right. Sensibly clothed and with a hat on her head, she’s out for adventure in the jungle, trying to find treasure.

The game looks great and showcases what Red Tiger Gaming is capable of in the graphics and arts department. We’re in a dark jungle, looking at temple ruins that are just begging to be explored. The background music is surprisingly light, however, but some drums add to the atmosphere.

Vicky herself is the wild symbol. The compass is the most valuable symbol, paying out 15x our stake for a win of 5 of a kind. The binoculars pay out 7.5x our stake for such a win. The hat pays 6x our stake for 5 of its kind and the notebook 4.5x. The scrolls still pay out 3x our stake for such a win. The remaining symbols are card suit symbols (hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades).

Mystical totem to unlock wilds in the base game

The base game is all about the Mystery Totem symbol. The totem crystal randomly appears on the reels and will fill the empty spot inside the totem on the right-hand side. It’s a nice little effect when that happens. It’s as if the totem is recharged to now add a wild to the top of the reels, where a row of locked symbols is visible. And additionally, random symbols on the reels are transformed into other symbols, hopefully to create a winning combination.

With any unlocked reel symbol above the main set of reels, the number of ways to win climbs as well. With just one unlocked symbol you get 324 ways to win, for instance.
