Mission Cash Slot Review
Released in September 2019, this game can be played at online casinos such as LeoVegas, Twin Casino or Spinit.
Theme and general information
With Mission Cash we get a cool-looking 60s era spy movie kind of slot. We seem to be located in the command base, where plenty of screens follow the goings ons around the world.
Four agents are on the reels as well as classic-looking card suit symbols. The whole thing has a certain cartoon style, which is not to say that the graphics aren’t very well done.
The background soundtrack could have been taken from any of the spy or agent series that were so popular in the 60s and 70s as well. The whole thing comes together nicely and creates and exciting atmosphere.
The blue agent is worth the most with 50x our stake for 5 of a kind. The red agent pays out 15x our stake for such a win and the purple one is worth 10x our stake for 5 on a payline. The green agent pays out 5x our stake still.
The card suit symbols correspond to the agents in colour and in a nice little detail, they all show the skylines of big cites we might just recognise. Lovely attention to detail here.
You can play this game from 0.20 per spin to 100.00 per spin.
Re-spins in the base game
The main feature in the base game includes the crosshair that is flitting across the reels and Agents Blue and Red. Whenever the crosshair lands on a position where one of these agents lands as well, we get a re-spin. The agent becomes a wild and expands on the reel to cover it fully.
The crosshair keeps flitting across the symbols and if it lands on another agent during the re-spin, you’ll get another re-spin. With that you also get another expanded wild. If your luck holds, you could end up with 5 expanded wilds across the reels.
Free spins and more re-spins
When the crosshair lands on the golden gun, you trigger the free spins. Eight free spins are awarded and now all four agents on the reels can become expanded wilds. The crosshair keeps doing its thing, of course, and whenever it lands on an agent, the agent will become an expanded wild and you get a free re-spin where the expanded wild is held in place.
The crosshair could keep adding further agents and expanded wilds as long as the re-spins are active.
It’s also possible to re-trigger the free spins, if the crosshair lands on the golden gun once more.
Conclusion: An interesting slot that hides some decent wins
The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) of Mission Cash is 96.65%, which is excellent. Do be aware, however, that individual casinos are able to lower this RTP, which is a bit unfortunate. In any case, Play’n GO delivers a great payout in a highly volatile game. And it never actually feels overly volatile, because you hit the re-spin feature often enough to make the game worth your while.
The action is fast paced, the theme and soundtrack are cool and even though the features aren’t outstanding or super special or even numerous, you still can have a lot of fun with Mission Cash. The payout is more than worthwhile and the maximum winnings in this game are 5,000x your bet, which you can get in the free spins. Now, all agents becoming wilds can pay out 50x our stake on a single payline, which is very good. We liked Mission Cash and its fairly simple features that can still pack a punch. Try it out yourself!
