Fat Santa was Push Gaming Christmas offering in 2018 and is actually a clone of Fat Rabbit. Push Gaming knows how to make great-looking slots that have awesome graphics, engaging gameplay and are worth coming back to year after year.

Fat Santa might be a seasonal slot, but it isn’t forgettable. We get a village setting here with a bunch of log cabins. We may very well be at the North Pole. The graphics are great, and the wintry landscape looks wonderful, albeit somewhat cartoonish. Snow is falling and the background music gives us a Chrismas jingles that have a bit more a beat and rhythm than many other Christmas slots. We like it. It’s not at all dull or boring.

The low value symbols on the reels are baubles with the card suit symbols emblazoned. There’s also an adorable reindeer, a gift, an elf and a cute snowman. There’s a wild in the shape of a Christmas pie and Santa himself is also a wild symbol that makes only rare appearances, however.

Santa and the elf are both worth 20x our stake for 5 on a payline. The reindeer pays out 16x our stake for such a win and the snowman is worth 10x our stake for five on a payline.

Look out for Santa’s Sleigh in the base game

There is only one feature of note in the base game. On any spin, Santa may come rushing in on his sleigh, which looks pretty cool, and leave behind a bunch of Christmas pie wilds. You probably won’t see it happen often and it may not yield big wins. But it is nice when it happens and you get four or more wilds on the reels, if you are lucky.

Feed Santa in the free spins

The free spins are triggered when a Santa wild and one or more Christmas pie wilds land on the reels. We start of with 5 free spins. Now, Santa will remain on the reels at all times. And on the right-hand side you will see a Christmas pie meter.

Whenever a Christmas pie lands on the reels, Santa will hop on over and devour the pie, adding it to the counter on the right. And yes, there’s no other way to call it. He is devouring the pie. For every 5 pies Santa consumes, he will increase in size and we also get additional free spins.

After the first size increase (the game isn’t called Fat Santa for nothing), he covers 2×2 symbols. Next, he will cover 3×3 symbols and he can grow up to 5×5 symbols, having devoured a total of 25 pies.
