One of the biggest betting and casino operators in the UK – Bet 365, has become the first online casino to launch the new native mobile app developed by Playtech. The new app will be an upgrade to their already existing Bet 365 app and it will offer players better speed and performance across all devices.
According to Playtech’s official newsletter, players will be able to download games and start playing within seconds, while the overall loading time will be three times faster than with the HTML5 web apps that most operators use as their mobile platform.
With this version of the app, players will get immediate access to the “most immersive” mobile gaming experience in the market and over 100 games that will include both classic casino games as well as the most recent Playtech slots.
Apart from improved speed, players can also enjoy other updates like the new “device-centric” lobby with enhanced image quality for smoother user navigation. The app also comes with an option to group game favorites as well as access to a dedicated promotions section.
The COO of Playtech, Shimon Akad, considers the app a logical step, since according to research they’ve analyzed 89% of mobile gaming time was spent in apps, as opposed to only 11% on browsers. He also believes the instant play functionality combined with the new changes will ensure that their licensed casinos attract more players and make their app the number one casino app in the current market.
